Staying safe and private

• Don't paste secrets: passwords, full card or bank numbers, Social Security numbers, or other people's private info.
• Check privacy settings: most assistants have a setting about whether your chats can be used to improve their models, and a way to delete history. Look in Settings → Data or Privacy.
• Verify important facts: ask for sources and check them, especially for health, legal and money questions.
• Watch for scams: fake “AI” apps and browser extensions exist. Download only from the official site or app store links on our assistant pages.
• Agents need extra care: give the smallest access possible (read-only first), and keep a “review before sending” step on.
